Tajik Migrants' Voices Celebrated at International Migrants Day 2024 Event
Dushanbe, Tajikistan -- December 19, 2024 -- The International Organization for Migration (IOM) Country Office in Tajikistan successfully hosted "Voices of Migrants," a special event commemorating International Migrants Day 2024. The celebration, which took place on December 18 at the Hyatt Regency Dushanbe, brought together 150 participants to recognize the contributions and resilience of Tajik migrants.
"Our migrants not only support Tajikistan's economy through remittances but also enrich their host countries with their knowledge, experience, and cultural diversity," emphasized Victor Lutenco, IOM Chief of Mission in Tajikistan, in his opening remarks.
